As a miner, TLJ is part of a crew digging a tunnel. Tommy’s character muses about the when humans come to a river, they build a bridge. When they come to a mountain, they build a tunnel. It follows them through a lot of tough times until finally, the head engineer gives Mr. Jones the honors of pressing the button. In the end, he muses that the feeling of elation could be addictive.
