Learn Japanese

So after watching all these crazy videos, you’ve got the hankering to come to Japan, and see for yourself if it as crazy as it seems. Well, first of all, yes, it is as crazy as it seems. But, perhaps, like me, you would like to learn some Japanese before coming, and you find phrase books just don’t cut it. Or, like me, you will find that more than half of what you learned in phrase books, are not actually used by the Japanese in day to day conversation, rendering all your hours of practicing saying わたしはげんきです (Watashi wa genki desu – I’m fine) completely useless.

Well, this is where I can help. I found a 6 day course from Rocket Languages, which is offered completely free. These folks know their stuff, and teach actual dialog that you’ll not only be able to use on your travels, but to communicate with locals in a natural way. It’s fast, painless, and probably the best online language course I’ve found.
